This page answers the quality and reliability questions international buyers ask most often before placing a first order with MSA Exports.
Process
Our quality control process
1. Sourcing
Yarn count, fabric construction and GSM are agreed in writing before production. We buy only from mills we have visited and worked with.
2. Pre-production sample
A sealed sample is approved by the buyer for shade, hand-feel, stitching and labelling. Bulk production is matched against that sealed sample.
3. In-line inspection
Checks during weaving, dyeing and stitching for shade variation, GSM drift, seam strength and dimensional accuracy.
4. Pre-shipment inspection
AQL-style random checks on finished goods with a photo report shared before booking the container.
5. Packing & loading
Cartons verified for count, marking and moisture protection; loading photos sent to the buyer before the container is sealed.
Sourcing
Sourcing standards
We work with established mills and stitching units in Pakistan's cotton belt, and we keep the same supply partner for a repeat programme wherever possible so that shade, weave and finishing stay consistent between orders. Cotton content, thread count and GSM claims on our quotations reflect the actual construction ordered. We will not quote a specification we cannot reproduce in bulk.

Certifications
We state our certification status plainly. Items marked "in progress" are not yet certified in MSA Exports' own name, and this page is not an independent audit or certification.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100
Certification in progressCertification in progress for our bedding and towel lines; mill-level certificates available on request in the meantime.
GOTS (organic cotton)
Certification in progressCertification in progress. Organic-cotton programmes are currently supplied through GOTS-certified partner mills with transaction certificates.
HACCP (pink salt)
Certification in progressCertification in progress for our food-grade salt packing. Third-party lab analysis reports are provided per shipment today.
04: Reliability
Supply & shipping reliability
Production slots are booked against confirmed yarn availability before we commit to a delivery date.
Written production timelines, with regular status updates through to container loading.
Clear FOB and CIF terms; documentation prepared in advance to avoid port delays.
If a date is at risk, you hear it from us early, before the shipping window closes.
Quality questions from buyers
- Do you share QC reports before shipment?
- Yes. We produce a photo QC report at the pre-shipment inspection stage and share it with the buyer before confirming the container booking.
- Can I arrange third-party inspection?
- Yes. Third-party inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas or another accredited inspector can be arranged at the buyer's expense before container loading.
- What happens if goods do not match the approved sample?
- We do not load goods that differ materially from the approved sealed sample. If a deviation is identified during inspection, we resolve it before shipment, not after.
